Even the most basic operations are made by computers because we seem to lack the necessary time to do them on our own.
I admit to giving my computer a smack sometimes because there are times that I get anxious about some thing that I’m working on and my computer seems to work harder or refuses to respond my instructions. If you have the same problem as I do, this means that your computer has suffered from your bad temper as well. The reason why we do this to our work computers is because we don’t consider them our own and thus, there is no need to be gentile to them. If something happens and it breaks, you just call the service and you have it shipped for maintenance.
Computers at the office are those that get all the anger from the employee. One way you can find out that your employee is angry or not, is by the way he types at the keyboard and the way he looks at the monitor. The bigger the noise, the bigger the anger and this is only one example on how computers get abused.
If you are a coffee addict and you drink it while you boot the computer in the morning, I sure that you have spilled coffee on your keyboard or monitor without feeling ashamed of it or being afraid that it will burn out. Naturally, you don’t feel bad about it because as I said before, it’s not your computer. Office computers are the most abused computers in the world.
